I've done a search already and haven't found what I'm looking for.
I want a pack; in subdued colors, that can carry at least 1000 cu.in.
I like to trailrun and would like a pack that will move with me, rides close, and won't get in the way. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've used the Arcteryx RT25. Small enought for biking, yet like 1500cu in. or so. Under $100 in many places.

You probably should check out Camelbak. They have many different models of many different sizes.

I just bought a Flashflo which is a waist (fanny) pack with a great 1.4L hydration bladder. Once you get it adjusted it's very stable for trail running and has plenty of storage for a knife, light, cell phone, mini-first aid kit, power bars, ID, etc...

If you're ooking for a backpack they have lots of those too and they all seem to be of very high quality.

Hope that helps,

I'll chime in for the Arc'teryx RT 25, too. It has a hydration bladder pocket inside so you can carry stuff and water, too.

I have a couple of MoutainSmith "Day" packs. Lumbar packs, not backpacks but shoulder straps can be fitted to them if you want. Water bottle (Nalgene 1L) holders on the sides. About 1000c.i. I like 'em.

Another Kifaru recommendation. I have a Daystalker for day long / overnight hunting trips and it is every bit as good as their larger packs, which is pretty darn good.
