Just bought a new tomahawk which did not come with one. Will consider Kydex if I can't find someone locally who does leather.

Hi Utah
If you post on the sheath forum you might find someone local to you. Lots of great sheath makers hang around there using both leather and kydex. I think there's a sticky at the top with a big list of makers.

Regards

Robin

Noah M. Legel of Wasteland Leatherwork has done great sheaths for some of my blades before. Knedgecko already posted a link, but here's a site specifically for our collaborations together: wastelandcrow.blogspot.com

It'll give you an idea if his style suits the look you want.

If you are looking for someone local to help your local economy, I can't help you. If you are looking locally to avoid having to ship your hawk to a leather maker, there is an alternative. I can make a tomahawk sheath (that fits like a glove) from a traced pattern. My prices are quite reasonable. PM me if you are interested and/or want more info. Respectfully, Tena.
