I was looking at watches on Ebay, and ran into a Sandoz Dive watch
It has a 25 jewel Swiss movemnt, and cost's About $110.00. Do you guys have any experience in this brand?

I might be dating myself, but when I think Sandoz, watches are not what comes to mind ;) BTW I've never tried any Sandoz products.

Sandoz is a well-respected Asian watch company. The 25 jewel movement you are referring to is the popular Swiss ETA 2824. These are made in Switzerland and then shipped to Asia to be put in a locally made case.

The general opinion on these watches is that they are good quality pieces, and $110 is a bit less than they go for new.

Here are a couple links about them:

I have nothing to do with the site or the seller.

I think that considering the price and the movement these watches represent an exceptional value, I only wish they would make more styles than just Rolex-like designs and do some creative stuff.

I believe they are assembled in HongKong and South Korea. A friend of mine has his for approximately 10 years already and the dial and hands are still luminous. The movement seems to be hanging tough. From what I read, the bracelets are not that spectacular. The Invicta bracelets are much better. Somehow a watchnut in a forum mentioned that he swapped the bracelet of the Invicta to the Sandoz and he used a Nato strap on his Invicta.

You can get the Sandoz for less than $100 in Asia. Has a nice movement, decent case/bezel, reliable with the only complaint on the bracelet. This is a good value watch.

Thank you guys, The one I keep seeing on Ebay is pretty sharp, I might just have to pick one up. Thanks again.
P.S. How are the invicta's?
