Hi im a college student and an Army cadet experimenting in knife making and im unclear on heating, quenching, and finishes like parkerizing and blueing. know of a good resource?
 
hey thanks ive learned alot. i wanted to get some real knowledge before starting my first serious projects. Ill keep everyone posted on them
 
Hey guys and gals. I thought I'd post an update on the "knife how" site.Hamza has been changing things a bit and right now it is just a list of tutorial links and info links.As soon as he gets the re-working done,it will be back up as a navigable forum site where you can find tutorials and links by category.This will end up as a very useful,and user friendly site.The goal is to have one place where most of the "where can I find HT specs for...." and other common questions on "how do you...." topics can be found by Newbies and the old makers as well.I'll post when it is back in full operation.
