Hi all. New here so I may make a few (oh-ohs) OK my question. I have a spyderco that I bought 2+ years ago from a closing sportsmans wherehouse. Description is: Kruki style, total length 12 1/2 in. blade length 6 1/4, Jerry Hosson design, green micarta handle, but the kicker is the steel!!! N690Co Italy. Only other info on knife is 1/2 by 1/2 spyderco logo on other side. As I know it the N690Co Steel from Italy was somewhat a Extrema ratio steel. Any Ideas of what model this one is? and how much the asking price is? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks for any info on this one.!!!!
Oh P.S. any RC idea?

Hey Thanks powernoodle.!!!!! That is the EXACT one. Don't know why I could not find it? but seems you are much better with a PC than me. Oh spyderco didn't mention a price or RC on it so I'm gonna try your link to see if I can. Thanks again.!!!! Well this is sure the right place to ask a question. And I hope I can Help out with some anwsers soon as well. Again My thanks, I owe ya one. Enjoy. Edgy:thumbup:

The Woodlander has recently been discontinued and was available for $120-150 when I checked a couple months back. A few places still have it in stock, but the supply is drying up, which should help drive prices back up as they become unavailable.

This is one of my favorite Spyderco fixed blade models. If I recall, the MSRP was over $300, and at the end they sold at around $120.

Just when I *thought* I knew just about everything I needed to know about knives after 30+ years, I found this site. I make, experiment, tourture, and just plain abuse most of (not all) factory knifes to see just how tough they really are.! Just looking at all of the knowlage combined about knives/swords, and steels here is nothing short of Awesome..!!! Thank you all for your help.! And I hope to be puting in some of my own soon. Great site, Great people. This makes my day/year. And again Thanks. Enjoy all Edgy.
Ah..P.S. 1 more Q. The RC of the woodlander? Before I go out and see just what it has, as in how tough. Thanks again all.
