I can tell you that Shawn Knowles makes a GREAT knife.

We beat the HELL out of this thing for 2 hours(several of us)--and it still shaved afterwards..
 
I could have told you that since I got the first 3V camp knife he made. Handle is different and made to fit me .It really works ! It's me, my knife fighting against the 'jungle' !
 
I know the man that designed that Knife..

Shawn made it EXACTLY as Warren designed it..

Works like a slient chainsaw....
 
Just FYI - the link you posted is hinkey, or else my computer is brokeded. That knowles is a screamer, and since you got it i've had a crush on that big wide elliptical Siegle...
 
Hey Bill,

Right on man I didn't know you got the Green hilted one. I got the Black G-10 hilt and 416 SS guard one the other day when I got home and I to love it. Shawn has done a fantastic job with this!!! Thanks for the pics. I still need to get out with mine but it's around 10'F right know and I'm getting ready to leave for a week again.

Mete designed the blade, I believe, I just changed the handle shape---but damned if both of us didn't get it right...

Oh yes, and I suppose Shawn Knowles deserves some credit. ;)

Awww, Come on Warren, The only thing I didnt design was the placement of the thong hole.:D(which was your Idea:thumbup:)

Shawn designed the blade , I just picked the length. We went back and forth with comments and drawings to get a handle that worked for me . That's the proceedure and advantage of getting a custom knife.
With spring the jungle will return.A few years ago I was cutting down jungle vines that were growing up the power pole. That stuff keeps growing even across the road. As I finished a constable stopped , seeing my kukri, and asked what I was doing . I said 'cutting jungle '.
