Knuckle knives/Knuckle Bowies?

Hello,

I'm new here, but have looked around extensively.
Nice place you got.

As a newbie, of course I come with questions and I intend to ask them with the utmost respect.

Here's my first:
What is the general feeling about Knuckle knives in the collecting community?
Most of what I have seen around the net are just shiny pieces of crap... But they're so dang purty'. I've amassed quite a few over the past year and they're just for display.

Here's my second: (If I'm out of line, please disregard.)
Anyone care to share some links to where Knuckle knives can be purchased?
Again, if I'm out of line for asking, disregard and commence the beatings.
I've collected quite a few links and have dealt with several companies - mainly nice folks - if anyone is interested.

the only guys whom I know like trench knives are either high-end collectors, or teenagers / mall ninjas. they're illegal in many places.

EDIT: These will not come cheap and to answer your question... This style of knife does not appeal to me, but opinions are like........

Spyken: Gotcha bro. You've just met your first individual that's not a mall rat (31 yr old, ex-military), or high-end collector. I appreciate your input though.

Bkultra:Those are real beauties, thanks for sharing. As far as legality, I tend to stick to the cheapies so if they get seized, well I guess I'm out $10. The typical site I'll deal with also sells the 'Belt Knuckles'. Did I mention I'm fortunate enough to live in MA? (Yes, that's a joke...)
 
Those Busses are EXPENSIVE, but if you take a peek at their respective forum (under the "Manufacturers" tab at the top) you'll find that they inspire fanaticism second to none. Even Spyderco.

man, those guys are freaks.

Can anyone tell me where I could possibly find one of those black Busse knives? I've been looking all over the place for a serious/tactical knuckle knife... any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.
