Junk from the past, and dangerous too. As I remember they had a propensity for lock failure which often resulted in badly lacerated or amputated fingers. Sort of like a cigar cutter......

Agree that I would NOT USE the knife . Unsafe !Junk, but I wouldn't throw it away. They're sort of a snapshot of 1980's -90's cheap "badboy" knives. along with cheap Bell Foundry swing guards, Tiger knives, 007s and NATO Military OTFs. Earliest I've seen them offered was 1982-83, and I remember still running into them for $8-20 in the late 90's. The tip bend is common, as the blades are ground thin and have wonky heat treatment. Aside from the bad locks, I never found one that fit the hand well, the finger stalls were always much too tight.
