Copper is so easy to file and sand! Call me lazy but this is about all that's come out of my shop lately. Got this done between episodes on the roof, tuck pointing my leaning chimney... I'd rather be sanding!

Both are 1/4" copper. The first one I made 10 or 12 years ago and however he managed it my brother ended up with them. No amount of trying has ever pried them out of his hands, either. So finally I made myself another - they're the shiny ones with fingerprints. ;) After the pic I polished them up again and they're hanging in my shop now, acquiring that happy penny patina...

Thanks Andy, that makes me feel good! Actually, this is one of those projects you could never sell, because it probably took 25 hours to make. But I've been thinking about having some cut with a waterj et, in which case I'll let you know. Finishing just the edges should go pretty quickly.
