Knut Lie in Kamloops BC?? Is he still making grinders?

Hi there, just wondering if anybody out there knows if Knut Lie is still making grinders and if so, how I would go about contacting him regarding price, etc. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers!

I have just received a quote from Knut for a run of his grinders that should be ready in one month.
He said that the price is 700CAD without gold anodized finish or 850CAD with the gold finish.
The grinder is 2x72 with an 8" contact wheel. It includes platen, rests and a 1" small wheel.
It has a 5/8" drive shaft. He will supply pulleys and belt for 30CAD.
There was a picture of it posted recently.
I am going to order one. I priced it out vs a Coote, to my door including shipping and taxes, it should be about the same, maybe slightly cheaper.

Let me rephrase that. How many units are available in a month? Does he just build them upon request? I don't have the money at the moment (wife is due Feb.5) but I'm hoping to buy one in the summer...:)
 
He told me that he is making 30 grinders. I'm sure that you can arrange something with him.
 
Spoke with Knut tonight. He has lots of orders and 30 in process right now.

FWIW, Canada may also have another grinder dealer within a month or so.

Very interested in seeing grinder made by knut. I just finished building myself a grinder very similiar to KMG grinder. I would like to post some pics of my grinder but I have not figured how to do this yet.
