Good morning everyone,

I need a little help. I have a Knives of Alaska- Bushcamp that I really like, except the handles. I am trying to find out what it will cost to have someone make new handles for it, and I'm not even sure what I want yet. Maybe G10 or micarta, who knows.

Anyway, can someone suggest who may do this? It's not a custom knife, so I don't want to spend a ton of money, but I would like something different, and I'm trying to find out what my options are and how much it could cost me.

I hope I posted this where it should be posted. Thank you all for your time.

How much is a ton of money for you? I would think you would be spending somewhere between $50 and $100 dollars for a custom set. You'd also probably have to send your knife/scales to the maker.

Blue,

Have you had any dealings with someone you would suggest that does this type of work.

I'd like to see some factory fixed blades with new handles if anyone has pics, but, I know that's probably asking a little much?

If you have a dremel tool and drill, you could do it yourself for under $20 in two afternoons. And have a fun project.

This. Else I have had 3 scales done by cuscadi and each one exeeded my expectations.

I thought there would have been more fellas that would have had this kind of work done before, and want to talk about it?

Thanks to those who did.

You would think there are lots of youtube videos on this subject - you know the ones that make it look like a 20 minute breeze ... but it turns into a 5 hour nightmare because someone left out a few critical points out so the video would not be too long ... ask me how do I know this LOL
