This knife will become available 22 Oct. at Larry Bailey's Ohio Classic Knife Show.
http://www.ohioknifeshow.com/
It's a 324 layer "Sunburst Random" of 1084 and 15N20.
I hot blued the blade and 1018 steel take-down fittings.
This thing dances all over the room.
One way I photographed it showed the chatoyance in the Stabilized Koa better, and the other way showed the chatoyance in the blade better!
I hope you enjoy going both ways.:)

Chatoyance and quilting in blade and handle, hot bluing and polished spine and clip. You've really put it all together, Karl. Something for folks to look forward to at Larry's show.

That blades looks unbelievable in the first couple of pictures (and the others of course...but you know what I mean;))

Superb.:thumbup::cool:

WOW!! That damascus is awesome Karl. The blade looks corrugated in the pictures showing the chatoyancy.

I imagine it's even nicer in hand.

Very nice complete package. Makes me wish that I was going to the show in order to get a first hand look.

Wow, very nice.

Beautiful pattern in the damascus, and very nice wood!

Kind regards,

Jos

Very Nice Karl, love the sunburst and think the Koa with it's chatoyance was an excellent choice.

Hey WOW Karl, that turned out really cool. I throught you were to busy hunting to be making knives. If I bring my bow and come up can you put me on one of those big trophy corn fed whitetails. ;)

Haven't been out one time - yet. Stuck in the shop getting ready for Larry Bailey's show.

Had five in the yard this morning, and one 6 pt. He wouldn't go on the wall, but he'd go in the crock pot just fine!
