I have been working on this one for a while. The steel is W2 with a hamon. The bolster is nickel silver, coined G-10 spacer, and a curly koa handle. I did not use alignment pins with the different handle pieces, but shaped each piece individually until I was happy with the fit. The koa handle is slightly proud from the spacer and bolster.
The sheath is hand stamped veg tanned leather, with a suede lined retention strap.
I took some inspiration from John Doyle's work, especially after seeing all of his entries in last year's best hunter thread
