Tom, my Koa arrived Friday. 8 days not bad shipping for shipping international, especially after the USPS problems you've experienced lately.

The stuff is gorgeous. I opened it at the post office and showed it off to a few people who were hanging around. (small town - people hang around the post office for excitement). It looked great and all were very impressed, but then I took it home and dunked it in a bucket of water.

WOW!!! Rich, brilliant colours and undulating 3d animation of the grain patterns. This stuff does everything except making the morning coffee. Now I know what all the excitement was about.

You also sent me more than double what I paid for. Let me know how much I owe you.

Thanks Tom

It's not the gun, Tom; it's the man holding it. You'd better sign up for the next Million Mom March.

I swapped Tom my recipe for gator tail gumbo for some of his KOA. It's great, but a little too salty for my taste!

FREE!!!!!
No such thing in Canada, especially if it came from the US. Our Canadian Customs goose steppers will attach there own estimated value to anything.
Whats your story Rob did I give you an out.

Canada Customs

I like grizzly bears. You know what to expect from them. Cantankerous, short tempered and predictable.

Black bears, on the other hand are impossible to figure out. One day you can scratch him behind the ears like a big old lazy dog. The next day he'll come smokin' out from behind a bush and open you up just to see what's inside.

Canada customs is like a black bear. The Koa from Tom got through with out them attaching anything extra to it. So did my stabilized wood from WSSI. Last year though, A US company replaced a box of bullets for me when I had a bullet perform very badly on a smallish buck. By the time customs was done with my free box of bullets, it was carrying a bill of $9.00!!!! I just wrote "Return to sender"

So far, the knife stuff has been pretty good crossing the border. (Knock wood (Koa))

YES,
Toms KOA is great!! I think he must have used a lot of Miracle Grow to get it to look that good!! The wavy patern results from Tom Hugging the trees!!
I sent my batch off for stabilizing and is now VERY easy to finish. I've had lots of compliments so far on my Buck/Strider that got the "HOT ROD" treatment using the Koa. (pics soon)

Hey Neal:
Where did you send your KOA to be stabilized? I would like to have mine done also and I have a beautiful piece of birdseye redwood that need the same treatment. Tom's Koa is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for the help.
