I handled one of the Kobalt Multi that a lady at work stashes in her desk and the fit and finish surprised me. Felt very solid. So did the sheath. I have seen them at Lowes for less than $15 and for that I think they're worth it. What's your experince or concensus on these lower class tool? Worth buying as beaters? Has anyone put there's under hard use?

Im not a huge fan of sending more money to China. Especially when Leatherman has entry level MT's now.
I see sidekicks and wingmans for $20. I bought a bunch for $15 at xmas for gifts. They were even giving a style CS with them for a while.
Leatherman warranty, and customer service are Top Notch too.

I've seen many good reviews on these, on another forum I frequent. People seem to think they are worth the money and hold up pretty good for price paid.
