Hi!
Amongst the knives I bought in 2012, this is my favourite small folder. A custom Koji Hara (following his Me-dake Maru style, but with custom ordered dimensions).
The style of the handle and blade follow the form of bamboo. This theme is also picked up in the blade spine, with nicely contoured intersections.
The blade is mirror polished Cowry-Y, the single thumb stud features a black-lip MOP inlay. The handle is made of beautifully crafted and handselected black-lip MOP scales. The workmanship is incredible. I have seen and owned a lot of knives, but this one's finish is amongst the very best of them all! I can not say enough good things about this knife!
The images were done with my "fun-at-home" quick and dirty setup shown here in this thread:

Not to be taken too seriously, but I like the distinctively chosen look and it's simply fun fooling around with it:
Best regards,
Alex
