Here is a new piece made to accomadate a couple of my fav-o-rite customers. Each had invested in a "fancy" version of a knife I make called the "Kozuda", which is dual ground / mirror polised / cord wrapped over exoctic skin in a cross draw leather sheath. Well, neither of the two guys wanted to carry or use the knife because they said it was "too pretty". They each live on opposite sides of the U.S., but got together via the net and knife forums and ask me to create a user version of the original, so here it is.

KK -
3/16" thick 1095 Carbon Steel
3 7/8" blade length / 8 1/4" oal
Dual Hollow Sabre Ground Clip Point Profile
Matte-Black Moly / Teflon Coating
Removable Linen Micarta Handle Slabs using (3) Torx Screws which allow for conversion to a Para-Cord wrap using the lightening holes in the tang if so desired.

Enjoy!

Great job David! Which one of those is mine?:D

Folks, I can't say enough good things about David. He took our suggestions, tempered them with his knifemakers knowledge, and out popped this little beauty. Now this is one that I will not hesitate to carry.

THANK YOU David! Another Dempsey knife on its way. I could'nt be more impressed with not only David's knives but he is the absolute best to work with. "Stump" and I came up with the idea of a working version of David's Kozuda model which is just to damn pretty to actually use. David took the idea and ran with it and this is the final outcome. Come see this guy at BLADE and check out his stuff. I am sure you will become as impressed as I have. The waiting list will begin soon for his knives.

Yes, STUMP and AZGlock21, you guys did good with the design of the "K&K Kozuda"!! Not only is David a talented knifemaker but he has a passion for what he's doing. See you gents at Blade!
Stay Safe,
Clyde

Hey Clyde, Stump and I should be close around Davids table on Sat and Sun. Make sure you say HI. Bimmer, send david an email as I'm sure he will hook you up........Regards, Kurt

That is really nice. I would prefer it without the coating or with Boron Carbide, but it is really nice just the same.

Hi guys! Today I got my "custom" version of the D-fighter II in S30V!!! I had David make it a little wider and beef up the knife to just over 3/16 thick and a very stout tip for prying. David is great to work with and his work is as good as any other maker out there!!! I have 2 of his knives and plan on getting more! I like the Kozuda and how much for a working version?

Hey Guy's,

Appreciate all the interest and compliments gentlemen. I enjoyed creating the KK, and I hope that it is all that you envisoned it to be. I'll see you Stump / AZGlock21 and RawHide in Atl.

Looking forward to Blade, it should be a blast. Chris, too bad you could not make the trip from out west. Maybe next year. Chris, shoot me an email off-line and we can talk about a KK for you.

KWM, I appreciate your compliment and critique. We could do a version without the coating or with the Boron coating. That is what is so cool about working with a custom maker! An S30V version would be awesome! Give me a shout if you would like to pursue it a bit further.

Thanks for taking the time to look and post.

WOW . Nice David. you are coming up with some great designs. I think that is a perfect small worker. I showed you some stuff and you just keep pumping things up to the next level. Great work, keep it up. looking foreward to the blade show. Its going to be a blast. I'll be bringing the cubans.
Cheers, Wally
