I was browsing the current issue of PC World magazine and cmae across a sidebar article about a utility called Konfabulator which adds widgets to your desktop. I currently have the digital clock, local weather, WiFi signal strength, the calender, and sticky notes. So far I am liking it.

I used Konfabulator for a while on my Mac and liked it. Fun to play with and pretty to look at. The latest version of the Mac OS basiclaly integrated Apple's own proprietary version of it into the OS and it's really awesome.

I love it. I have the picture frame cycling an image folder, the weather, and the post-its. It's very sweet, my dad is also using it now.

Thank you sir!

One of my favorite things to do is set the Picture Frame to the same pixel size as my screen, and lower the opacity to about 50%. This will overlay a semi-transparent image on your wallpaper. Set the image to change every X minutes, do the same to your wallpaper, and you've got a constantly changing background with some fun combinations if you choose your images well.... I like fractals and mountain ranges, for some reason. :)
