Hi there, dear sirs.
This is my debut on this well-known and worldwide honored forum so a couple of words about me.
My name is Andrei Starostin and I'm already trying to do knives for more than 5 years.
Let me show my latest work, Kookrie Mk.3, with light changes in geometry of blade and personal construction of sheath.
The blade was made with flat grind of Crucible D2 steel with selective hardening of 55-57HRC, well viewed on the photos.
Oal is 401mm, blade length is 280mm with cutting edge of 190mm, blade wideness is 55mm, blade thickness - 8,5mm (tapered tang to 5mm till the end of the handle).
The handle material is brasilian teak scales screwed via bronze washers by mean of stainless screws.

big fan of khuks, and this one is very cool. Nice work texturing the flats, that must've been pretty time consuming.

That's an exceptional piece of work. I like the faceting on the spine, and the textured flats really set it off.
