kopa gone?

The Spyderco catalog indicates that the carbon fiber Kopa is the final one.
Anyone know why?
I like the knife and have 2. One is in my pocket right now.

yeah it has been disco'd, to the best of my knowledge, just part of being a spyderco.

Yep, the Kopa, Kiwi, MicroDyad, and Mini Persian are all gone. For me, the Spyderco catalog is a vast wasteland this year.

I am tempted by the Mini Persian, but need to wait until my knife ration expires. I hope that they are still around for awhile.
