Hello Carlos. Noticed you have a Kopa for sale on BF. Was wondering what your thoughts and impressions were on the Kopa? You have mentioned how well you liked the UK Pen knife - comparison?

Thx in advance...

I'll comment after it is off of the FS forum. Wouldn't be appropriate right now.

I've got my Kopa on Wednesday (Collectors Club # 190).

Perfect finish, perfect grind .

Now I'm waiting for the Kopas with other inlays ;)

Okay, now that it has sold I'll comment:

It is smaller and slimmer than I'd thought ti would be, like a 2/3 Calypso Jr. Fit and finish are jewel-like. It reminds me of the early classic Al Mar knives. I'd bet that they are being made by Moki.

I didn't really handle it since I didn't want to remove it from the plastic, but the only minor imperfection I saw was a little roughness on the edges of the clip. The clip is on the wrong end of course. :grumpy:

I'm looking forward to the Evrina variant, which I intend to keep and try out against my Penknife as an EDC.

very jealous that you are a collector..i can't afford it..i'd be in the poor house..does anyone have a clue when they are being released to general public..i want my cocobolo now...i can't wait any longer..

Ohh smaller and slimmer than you thought, just what I want!

When I first saw pictures of the Kopa I was not too excited about it. I thought the handle was probably thick and round. Now the more I look at it, it seems not quite and fat and round as I originally thought.

I hope to user pictures soon with different angles and such!

hardkiss, they are on ebay right now for about 100.00.

It is much smaller than you'd think from the pictures. I thought it would be like a Salsa. It is really much more akin to a Kiwi.
