Kopesh?

Manoucher,
Richard F. Burton has illustrations in his book "THe Book of Sword" with the edge on either side. His illustrations are similar to the ones here. Notice this source says either or both edges could be sharpened. In another book I have it says they were carried as symbols of authority and it is depicted similar to the one top left here.
Regards,
Greg

Note that it is designed for deep-dish pizza.

Guess Chicago's claim of inventing deep-dish pizza may not be secure. :)

The Deadly Serrated-beak Vultite Chicken! From the same site...

http://members.aol.com/dargolyt/TheForge/chicken.htm

To quote:
"Held by the legs, the weapon could be used for both thrusting and slashing. Depending on the size of the chicken's head, the comb could also act as a knuckleguard of sorts. Most importantly, when sheathed, the protruding chicken-body made a nice party-gag."

Is this resource a gaming reference?

Possibly a survival guide. Never know when you'll need to pick up a petrified chicken and defend yourself.
