Kora for Komment

Seems that a few Khukuri guys also collect kora. I have here an example.

Bought in a penthouse in downtown San Francisco from a world-renown authority. Unfortunately I was so blown away by the view of the bay and an incredible collection of kora and khuks, that I did not really get the whole story on this kora. Some kind of military item with a very rare original scabbard.

Maybe some khukuri/kora expert would care to fill us in on this piece? Sure would be nice to know more.......

I've never seen a kora that I didn't like. This one is no exception. I'd be interested to hear the story behind it as well.

Rather sporty,that piece. Unusual to have the scabbard with it as well. I see that one also has a vague cho-looking mark,half moon,or shrine roof (as you fancy) on it as well.
