So. Love them both...big time. Probably will get both eventually but I have a thing coming up where I will have funds that have been approved by my financial advisor (the Mrs.) that will allow me to afford either...not both.

I like the the simple Auroras with Green or natural Micarta. Same with Koster.

Aurora costs more but delivers quickly. Koster, costs a little less, has that custom cache to it, but takes 4 to 6 weeks. Plus Koster comes sheathless which for me is not a problem.

I know that these are both fantastic bushcraft knives and I will be happy with either. Any thoughts on these two great knives? If you were me, which one?

Quentin

PS. Also like the BRKT Bravo USMC and Liten Bror.

I received a used Koster 3v some weeks ago and really like it.
Mine has a custom sheath.
I really like the knife but i can't compare with Bark River.

I have a custom sheath from Martin Sheaths and i know he owns 3 Koster knives. So if you want he could make you the sheath without sending a knife.

I've got the Aurora. It's a great knife. Handles really well. Nice point and very sharp. However, the Koster looks to be a fine knife, too. Would not mind one of those in my collection. Can't see you going wrong with either. That's the problem and why we all own so many knives. Can't choose!
