So I recently purchased and sheathed one of the excellent new Koster Bushcraft knives.

I wanted to carry it with a firesteel, but I've not been happy with making a rig that only carries the steel, and not the striker, since I don't like using the blade for the striker as a personal preference.

So I came up with a sheath that grabs both, the striker and the steel. It works out well. Very secure, holds everything, and if I don't need the blade to make the fire, it stays in the sheath.

Behold.

Looks good to me!!

worked out a price?

I'll pass the word along.

Thanks!

Dan

Yeah, I'd be interested in what price you're wanting for one of those. I assume the firesteel holder is detachable?

It is. The normal price for this one, 49.95, and I have the firesteels as well.

OK, one more question: does this fit the standard scales (3/16"), or the thicker scales that were available as an option (1/4")? Oh yeah, one more on top of that last one: what is the price without firesteel holder?

I've found with the kydex sheaths I've been making....that either knife fits the kydex (since even on the 1/4" thick handled model - the front is tapered down a bit).

That'd be good to see, Dan. I'll give it a shot.

Nice! Clean and simple, just the way it should be

Do you have a picture of the reverse, to show the belt attachment? Can these be had left-handed?

Thanks Vance!

Martin, I use the Belt Klip for that one. It can be left handed. I'll put up a shot tomorrow.
