Koster Knife Kit

I got my Koster Knife Kit bushcraft option #1 in the mail today. I got it shaving razor sharp and did a cord wrap handle. I will be doing a kydex sheath next.

I want to polish the scratches out of the scandi bevel as well.

Thank you. It feels absolutely great in the hand. It's the perfect size. I did it from this tutorial and with help from my girlfriend to keep it nice and tight:

It took 2 tries to get it nice and straight. I used a little epoxy under the knots to keep 'em tight.

Another interesting thing is that it initially looked like a tiny blade to me but upon comparing it to my AD, it has exactly the same length cutting edge.

So I made my first Kydex sheath today. It turned out functionally good and not too bad in the looks department.

Nice job!! Looking forward to my option #2 kit. Plan on some fun wood manipulation. That cord wrap is really sweet looking!!

Thanks. It was fun. It's quite amateurish on my part but it turned out acceptable. I like the cordwrap, it feels great.

I love cordwrapped handles, especially if done real tight. How about a lanyard to match?

They're super tight, I needed a second set of hands to accomplish that though. My brother said the same thing about a matching lanyard. I'll have to get to that this weekend. BTW Wearing the camo shirt was a total coincidence yesterday, it's the only one I own.

Has anybody else made progress on finishing up these little kit knives. If so post up some pictures. I have two that are in the process and I am taking pictures as I go. I will post pictures when done. C'mon someone has to have scales put on theirs already. Post pictures.
