I was excited when I received my nessie from Dan last month.:thumbup::thumbup: It's a great knife that I think will get a lot of use. I got to play with it for a couple of weeks before sending it off to Kenny and Cody at Rowe's Leather for one of their drop-loop pin-lock sheaths.

I loved the Rowe's sheath that Dan showed in his monster nessie post. I basically asked for the same style with the addition of a small pouch on the front sized to hold a mag-block fire starter. I don't think it could have turned out better!!!

Kenny and Cody were great to deal with and the quality of their work is outstanding! I think the Rowe's sheath and Dan's nessie make a super combo!!!

Wow, nice setup. With gear like that, you'd be assured of at least a temporary place on my zombie-apocalypse bus.

How do these sheaths hold up in rain? I've traditionally been a kydex guy, but I would like to give leather a shot. Do you water proof these like you would a leather coat?
 
These are treated already...just keep them clean and treated like you would any leather product. :thumbup:
