anyone have a koster WSK they can comment on?

I've got one and Bladite has one too. In a word, they're awesome. They perform excellently. Nice and hefty too. The handle is a joy. And the kydex sheath is snappy and wonderful. Do a search on me and Bladite. There've been pics.

Are you coming to Blade Show? He's usually there, and stuck behind that table. You can corner him and get all the 411 you'd dream of....

i couldnt find much info on his wsk from his site? am i looking in the wrong places?

I have one on special order, with a K4 karda and firesteel that I need to budget the balance for soon. I hope it will turn out as well as the ones he did for Andy and Bladite. He offered me one in satin with G10 scales some time back, but I loved the look of the cocobolo a lot more.

Dan put a hell of a lot of thought into this model, and considering what an original Beck variant goes for, or what you get from Koster Knives as opposed to what you get from the Tops model, I don't think there is any way you can go wrong.

considering that a beck variant with accessory knife is wanting to sell for $3500? er, that's a lot of a knife you won't probably use... i'm sure dan could offer a baker's dozen special for that ;) well, maybe not.

surely, a couple koster's (one for investment), and a lot of khukri pleasure can be had for $3500. also a nintendo Wii :)

Thanks for the kind words, guys...I am honestly interested in making this the best that I can and did not want to rush into it...merely "hopping on the wsk bandwagon". Yes, lots of thought went into it. Good testing too. But I am more interested in those who get one and have a chance to test it themselves. Feedback is very valuable.

ruh roh, thanx to mr enabler pointing it out (thanx!) i scored ANOTHER wsk at a fair deal to both of us :)

this one is piggy back/combo ready, i just need to think about my choice, probably the k4. any xmas specials for owners of 2 or more WSKs dan? ;)

one is my user (for sure ESP now ;>) and the other i'll buy my boat with when it's worth $9000 on ebay (thanx dan! :>)

i refuse to count how many i have (or KNOW off the tip of my brain), because it might freak me out, but you are cornering the market on dotds and some of the cool stuff and probably have *3x* as many khuks as i do ;) think about that :> xmas is the spirit of giving many of those to me!

i have the one on the bottom, or an exact clone, i believe, and getting a version, or the same as the middle, shortly :)

mmm, i know i can track down one more owner. that makes 1 missing one...

soon, all of them shall be mine. *cackle* the precious.
