I love horizontal carry, I learned from the ATAX and an earlier K Girl sheath that it's a great way to carry a blade. Christof normally sets these small blades as neckers, I believe, but I asked that it be a belt blade - horizontal carry. I thought you guys might appreciate this set-up, Sierra and Christof do great work, IMO:

Very nice. When I get around to ordering my Koyote, I will anticipate my KG sheath as much as the blade.

I'm not going to lie. When I got them the first thing I did was admire the sheath. Took me a while to realize I hadn't looked at the knife for the hour I actually had it at the time. :o

Yep, a collision of great and rare talent there between Sierra and Christof. I owned a couple of K-girl sheaths before I got my first Koyote blade. I feel a personal connection with Sierra's work as a result of wearing her stuff a lot, so I completely understand what you mean. BUT, than I got a Bush Beater from Christof in a K Girl sheath, now I'm just in awe.

Ain't that the truth. As nice as the blades are, those sheaths are incredible.

Really nice little knife M, I like horrizontal carrys and cross draws myself, been a while since I had one, think I'll put some more thought into that.

Quoted for mneedham's wife to read.....:D

Well, I guess it's a good thing that she appreciates my leather fetish....

Pro - You have great way of saying things... and the blades are incredible.

What knife? :D

Look close, it's small!

Thanks. Check back into the horizontal carry, I bet you'll like it. The first horizontal set-up that Sierra did for me stayed on my belt constantly, it's just comfortable.

We're liking it so much KG is getting one soon and we're actually going to put one up for sale later this week. "Pattern 1 necker in a needham model sheath"

and yes, she's ridiculously cute.

Don't wait too long, I'll be leaving in March :(.

And I'd like to point out that these pictures were taken before the final dye touch up and oiling. :D

Hey don't worry we all look better dyed and oiled up !:D

Does this mean we will get pics of K Lady with her face all painted green and brown from basic?:D Now what if you took the leather and folded from the bottom and made the welt extra wide so it would stick out and you could put belt slots in it? loops across the back for horizontal and belt slots in the side for vertical or IWB or even leg strapped for a dive knife effect..would it work or just too much trouble? just wondering.

The easiest thing to do would actually be to just put a belt hanger through the loops like a regular expedition sheath. That would work for neck carry as well.
