No contest. One more reason to have a big knife.
THis guy was out by our trash cans and paid the ultimate price for his choice of real estate. Like they say, location, location, location...

Nothing goes to waste. The boys got a snake physiology lesson, their second for the summer on rattlesnakes. This one was a male. His skin will be tanned and the meat is going in the pot.

Freakin awesome man. Great pics.

What part of the country you in?

That blade is pure badass.

Cool stuff. Is that blood on the boys hand? Looks like he wants in on the skinning job.

No those are his "web shooters". He drew them on himself. He is definitely into the tanning of the skins tho'. He is dying to eat the snake meat also.

I shot a 5 1/2 foot rattler yesterday. any tips about how to preserve the rattle and skin?

What model sword...er...knife is it? Love it!

His Spanish Dirk...Big Trail Knife...Boar Hunter...a few names...super cool, no? I'm waiting on one with thinner stock...gonna be cool!

That's the spanish dirk modeled one, yeah. Some of them have gone out specifically as boar knives. I've done them from about 7.5 inches in the field dirk dress, out to 15 inches of joy.

That's a nice kill!!!!
