Kraton Handle Failures

Has anyone experienced problems with Kraton handles? Especially on any Cold Steel products. I'm not so much concerned with opinions on comfort/ergonomics as I am with durability, failure, breakage, degradation, etc. Any comments and/or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I had a Trailmaster and a Recon Scout, after a few months of use the checkering on the handles had worn down on the contact points reducing the security of the handle. As well the grips started to feel like they were covered with grime even after I had cleaned them.

Yup.
I hve a Trailmaster that the handle failed on. It got a cut in it and let moisture in. I have some black linen Micarta to put on it one of these years.
