Hi all, I am wondering if or where i a can get hold of some diamond rubber sheeting to make inserts for knives, the same kind of material tha Microtech and MOD use.

I have checked out most of my regulars but can't see it anywhere

Thanks for that although i havent seen any yet. I have also thought of using a cricket bat handle grip although the rubber might be a bit too soft and wear down quickly.

Anyone else got any suggestions:confused:

Not sure I understand what you mean by diamond rubber sheeting - is that a chequered (or checkered :)) texture? RS do neoprene sheeting that could conceivably be chequered. Quite good stuff, I've used it in my vacuum setup.

I don't have a cutter that would do particularly coarse diamonds, but it wouldn't be too difficult to make.
