Hey there. I happened to stumble upon a knife that just looks awesome. It's called the TGS, I guess, and it's made by Krein Knives.

I really like the looks of this knife, it looks like it'd be awesome come deer season this fall, and general other knife chores. But it looks like this thing was a once off and there's probably no way I'll be picking up one anytime soon.

So my question is, does Krein Knives make something similar or is there another brand of knife that makes something that looks like is? I tried searching around for Krein Knives, but I couldn't find much on them or there product line... website seems old too, so I don't know how I'd contact them. Any ideas?

Krein does customs which the the tad gear special is. He has plenty of models to offer but he is no longer taking orders. You might be able to get a TGS but the secondary price is probably going to be very high.

First let me say that Tom is a brilliant knifemaker and a top bloke. He makes several styles which are similar but the TAD knives are always tough to find.

Tom has a hosted knifemaker forum on the USN forum. If you want to contact him and stay in regular touch I suggest joining USN.

Here are a few of mine.......

Steven, you are a traditional "hog." You've left none for the rest of us. Beautiful collection.
