First of all I would like to thank Tom Krein and TOB9595 for the opportunity to participate in this passaround.
I would also like to compliment Tom Krein on the fine workmanship and attention to detail that went into the TK8 . Fit and finish are first rate.

Unfortunately, I didnt get to use the TK8 as much as I hoped; slicing up some cardboard boxes and some light kitchen duty were about it. The TR8s spine is fairly thick (3/16), but the edge is thin (.20) and it really cuts well. I found the scales to be comfortable and secure, though fairly thin (1/4). Although I didnt get a chance to carry the TK8, the sheath looks good and seems to be well made.
While there is a lot to like about the TK8, I think I would like a blunter more rounded pommel and a distal tapered blade instead of the swedge. Both of these are very minor points and have more to do with appearance than function.
As it is, I am sure that the TK8 would make an excellent fixed blade EDC.
