I really like the look of the krien regrind. For those people who have had Tom Krien regrind your knife, where did you go to contact him for the service and how do you like the regrind so far?

He has a website. You can contact him by phone. That's the best way. He does amazing work and his pricing is very reasonable.

Phone is definitely the best way to contact him from my experience. He does excellent work and made this Kershaw Ricochet look beautiful.

Thanks alot! I sent him an email and he hasn't responded yet, I will call him monday.

How long did he take to return you the knife and how much was the cost of your regrind?

Is Mr. Krien still doing regrinds? If anyone know, please send me a msg. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I was just going to ask this question. Does anyone know when he might start doing regrinds again?

Tom Krein's getting more and more successful with his own line of knives. I doubt that he would be willing to spend any more time grinding other people's knives in the future when he can be making knives of his own design.

Mine was done a few years ago, before he started putting his stamp on them. Beautiful work, and sharp as can be.

he's done several for me over the years and has done fantastic work every time. he has stopped and started again on the regrinds a couple of times but the only way to be sure is to give him a call. emails generally don't get replied to

Tom usually goes in cycles. Once he gets caught up with orders and Blade is behind him he will probably start taking in limited re-grind work again.
Here are a few of mine..........

I have a Emerson Mach 1 with Krein Regrind on its way to me. Look forward to checking it out.

Here are a few I've had Tom regrind. His regrinds are the best slicers & they only need a stropping to maintain.I've never had to touch any of these to a stone after normal use.

I used to have a TSF Beast that was way to thick for me, so I had Tom put a thin, high grind on it.

I don't have a Krein regrind, but he did relieve the scale and liner to expose the Spydie hole on my Gayle Bradley. :)

I like the beast regrind. I'd send mine off today if he was still regrinding!

I had comms with him about two weeks ago and he told me that he not taking in any more orders or re-grind work until he killed some of the backlog. You best call him and check before sending your knife.
