Does anyone know if these are sold in Canada? If not where is a good place to purchase one for the best price, and is there anyone that has one of these and what do you think of it?

I have one of these lamps, high power and 180deg. Just put it through its paces during my last "RESERVE" training. Bright enough, not glaring, waterproof and still running original batts. My only gripe is the batts do make a fair bit of rattling (fixed by rolling the batts in paper). Didn't go diving with it yet.

I've got a couple of them stashed in the truck, backpack and camper. They work great for our purposes. A bit on the weighty side compared to the chem sticks but we definitely like the ability to turn 'em on and off.

I have never personally used one but in a review I read somewhere it said that after a while they develop bad splotches of dark area that don't work. :( Anyone had any problems with this?

Had mine for 'bout 8 months now ... great ...... took it with me on a Caving Trip and used it for approximately 5 hours continously ... plus during a blackout (power failure) in my house for approximately 4 hours ..... great Extreme 180 degrees Green light ... the light is still bright enough on the original batteries .... do not attract insects ..... not glaring plus cool to the touch !! ought to get it ... just make just you get enough and in Green (the brightest colour)
