I just got this two specially ordered for our two friends here in the balisong forum. I also got a couple of kris balisongs without the eagle tang still available.

Also, yesterday when i was in batangas, i gave the maker a drawing of the tanto and weehawk tanto balisong blades (from Chuck's site, thanks Chuck

). They told me that they can copy the blade style, we'll see in a couple of weeks.

You sure are fast Dave.

WOW, now those are some truely nice pieces. What is the cost for a piece like that?

Tique, the same balisong would cost around $20.

The 3 foot balisong dave was asking is not a kris. He just wanted to know if it's possible to get one that is disassembled. Well, the seller in batangas told me that they are willing to disassemble the 3 foot bali as long as i pay for it.

I also have on order a bali with finger grooves on the safe handle, very nice. I would have gotten one but those they have got that souvenir thingy "balisong blades" etched on the blade.

Rock, you may want to get more than one.. shipping from the Philipines is a real b!tch.

Huh? I don't think $5 is too much. Actually I think it is very cheap considering its overseas. Thanks Batangueno!

David, where'd you get the figure $5 from? I paid $30 to get mine shipped UPS. And if you only paid $5, please let me know which service you use.

Oh, that's it. Have you gotten your balis yet? Also, if you have, how long was the wait?

I think, but I might be wrong, I think I was the first to get a FHM balisong from Batangueno. Good ole' USPS took about a month to deliver, being only $5 (to ship) it scared the crap out of me. (I thought it was seized)
But it is all good now, just thought I would post a pick of this HUGE knife (largest I have seen -- its a beast)

So you were the one who got first picks on the kris.

I got the spearpoint so I'm happy here. Batangueno just recently sent the spearpoint so I predict it'll be here in about a month.

It is really huge compared to the BM42, but that is the standard size of a FHM balisong, 29cm (beintenuebe).

Dave, hopefully it wouldn't take a month for yours to arrive. I think Malcolm's bali got hung-up here in the philippines due to the typhoons and holidays when i shipped it.

Looks like the ole boy could use a clean up!

Looks like it does. I think it kinda looks like that because of the angle of the picture taken.

Could you send me an quote for an average price refinish job? Curious as to the level of polish/grit. Thanks
