I'd like to hear the feedback from actual kris cutlery product owners on this forum.

It doesn't matter if it's a katana or kampilan, whatever feedback you may have on them would be great. How do your blades feel when being used? How durable are they? How are its edge holding properties? Any problems you've had with them?

I'm looking to purchase their combat barong...but I'd like to hear some feedback first. Although I've been assured that they've never had any complaints with their products...I'm not too sure about how the barong blade is attached to the handle (I've been told that it was glued, with no pin).

However, since I've heard very positive things about the company, I'm not going to rule them out. So any feedback is welcome.

Thanks!

I have their Pompeii Gladius. I find the fit and finish way above what you're paying for. The grind lines are good and the polish better. The wood work is also good. The only grip I have about this piece is that there is no distal taper and it's overly blade heavy for my taste. I think Kris sets the standard for entry level swords.
