Sundang made by Kris Cutlery. Overall length approx 26 in. - blade length approx 20.5 in. For those unfamiliar, Kris Cutlery makes great quality, usable weapons at reasonable prices. This particular sword is no longer made by them. The overall length is about 26 inches, and the blade is just about 20.5 inches. The thickness is about 3/16 in the center. It feels good, with a nice weight and balance for this type of sword. The handle is some kind of hard wood with a lacquered cord wrap, and it's pretty comfortable - more comfortable than other kris blades I've handled. The sheath is thick, stiff leather, again it seems laquered. The blade has some oxidation running the length on both sides (probably from being kept in the sheath). there is no pitting, though, so it should clean up well. I meant to do this when I got it, but just haven't got around to it. The oxidation is heaviest on the waved section on either side, and runs light to spotty towards the tip. The blade also needs sharpening, if you're into that. Overall this is a solid piece, though, that's well put together, and a great deal. The last I saw, when Kris Cutlery was still making these, they were going for around $150. SPF shipped CONUS. paypal or money order please.
