Does anyone here have the Kris yet? I like it because it looks like an unusual design, which I find appealing and because it looks like a good sized folder. Curious if anyone has any feedback on how they handle etc...

Look further down this page and there is a post about the Kris. I talked about how I liked mine, and Mr Schempp talked about the design of it.

Thanks for pointing that out Halfneck, very informative. I think I'll have to pick one up in the near future.

I did a cursory review of one on the Spyderco forum a while back, rather than go digging for it, I'll just tell you the Kris is an excellent knife, and a very capable cutter. It's a little stiff out of the box, but once it smooths up, it's wonderful.

It is pretty good sized for a folder...a bit bigger than the Persian. Moki made so it very good quality. Certainly not your everyday folder, but I think that is a good thing. If it has already caught your eye, I don't think it will be a disappointment for you.

I have not carried mine yet, but it is a very nice knife. Build quality is very good!
here are a couple of pics of my Spyderco/ Ed Schempp family.
