Kryptex Commander vs. Sheepdog

Looking at which one I'm going to save up for this year. The kryptex commander just looks amazing but the sheepdog looks so much more functional. I wish they made a kryptex sheepdog. If it was your money which would you buy?
 
Yep, you need both.

But seriously if you want the kryptek model you should snap one up because they were a Christmas model and the kryptek may not make another appearance.
 
Personally, I like the Sheepdog a bunch more than the Commander. But since the Commander you are interested in is the Kryptek model, go with that one. Since it is a limited edition knife, it will be harder to find once EKI has sold them all where the Sheepdog is a new production model that will be sold by EKI and all their dealers that wish to stock them. Availability/rarity dictates this choice IMO. Commander.
 
Yeah that's kind of what I was worried about. Being a special model I'll probably go with the commander then. it's such a great looking knife they should really expand the series. I was hoping for something like the Patriot to be made kryptex.
 
Get the kryptek. Especially if you don't have a Commander. If it's not your style, you can sell it for pretty close to what you paid and turn around and get the sheepdog.
