I sold a blade here and had $200 in my Paypal acct and was thinking I'd save for a Mnandi. Then I saw the KW 940-1501 with the blue-black G10 and M390 steel and thought "that's for me!" But then I thought I already have a fave blade in my 943 Frankenknife (w/940-1 CF handle) and another 940-1 to boot so how many of those Osbornes can I have. So I started looking at the KW blue-black Contego, 'cause I like bigger knives, too, but I already have the bigger blue-black thing covered with a 710-1401, so I'm going 'round and 'round with the two hundred bucks burning up in the Paypal acct and I get Derrick's email from KnivesShipFree with that gorgeous blacked-out full-size Axis Stryker in CF and I'm cooked--I jumped all over that baby and ordered one on the spot.
I've got a satin-blade mini-Stryker that's a nice small carry and have been thinking about a full-size Stryker for a while, now. The price seems a little dear, but it's still a bit under the going rate for the 940-1.
So, I'd like to hear what other BM aficionados think of the full-sized Axis Stryker in general, M4 steel, and Derrick and BM's new offering.
