KSF Griptilian handle experience?

Many or most of you are probably aware that KnivesShipFree offers aftermarket G-10 and Micarta handle scales for Grips and Mini Grips. I've been thinking of stepping up my Mini Grip game lately by purchasing an M390 Mini Ritter Grip and outfitting it with the aforementioned scales.

Has anyone bought these scales? If so, some questions:
- I like lightweight knives. Do you feel the aftermarket scales add too much weight?
- These scales appear to result in a thicker knife. If true, do you think it makes the Grip too bulky?
- How would you compare the ergonomics of the stock scales vs. these aftermarket scales?

Any help is appreciated; (pics are always great as well.) Just looking for some feedback before I plunk down $200+ for the whole shebang.

(P.S. KniveShipFree is not a paid dealer member of Bladeforums. However, since the aforementioned handle scales are currently exclusive to KSF, I don't believe any rules are being broken in mentioning them.)

I don't have the KSF ones, but I bought a set from Blade Scales for my mini grip and really like them. They're not heavy at all, but are a little wider than the factory scales. Gives the knife a whole different feel too, I'm not a fan of the cheap plastic feel of the factory scales.
