the sharpshooter izula sheath came in today! the snap is awesome. there's no wobble with this sheath.
it's smaller than the pics suggested. i haven't gotten a chance to carry it yet, but i'll start tomorrow.

I saw those.....

I have a BRKT Bravo necker on Order(hopefully they come in soon), and an Izula in my pocket, I might pick one up since they fit both!!!

Nice lookin setup bro.

i've pocket carried my izula all day in its new pants. i'm pretty sure i've got a couple of buddies getting ready to place orders.
it carries well, just dropped in the pocket, and i can get the blade out one-handed. if i catch the firesteel loop on the hem of my pocket, i can re-sheath the knife one-handed as well. have to wait 'til saturday before i can really belt carry it. gonna have to order a fire steel for it, so i can test out the loop.
so far i'm really liking it.

i went ahead and belt carried my izula at work the last few days, in the new sharpshooter sheath. it stays covered enough that none of the sheep i work with freak out. the knife can be deployed and re-sheathed one-handed, not quite as fast as re-sheathing with the stock sheath, but it's got a more secure hold on the knife, too. and leather's just awesome. i'm liking it more and more.

been carrying it with an izula firesteel from KSF:thumbup:. i've never used a firesteel before, but it was easy to figure out. set a couple of tinder bundles ablaze today. i'm a little nervous about the steel falling out of the loop. it's probably because i've never used a firesteel loop before monday. the steel hasn't fallen out yet, but i think i'll glue a wooden bead to one end just in case. they come 3 to a pack, so if i do lose one, i've got extras.

I figured on the firesteels that they would be a good thing to have....if they get so thin they fall out we can just put another one in. The bead idea is a great one.

Yeah these are great sheaths. Got mine with the Bravo Necker I ordered. They ride really high and tight. Great for concealment but not the most comfortable for me as I seldom wear my shirt tucked in. Usually a hoody or coat. Very high quality though and fits the Izula perfectly :)

i really think it's just because i've never carried one before. the bead should give a bit more to hold on to, for a better strike, i'd think.

well, i've slept while wearing the sheath, firesteel still in the loop. i've harnessed up to use some power equip at work without losing the steel. i think the loop is long enough it'll be nearly impossible to have the steel fall away(until mr. murphy visits). i think i need more izulas and maybe a bravo necker or two so i can accessorize this sheath...
