Well I got tired waiting for my UK source to sort me out a tan RC-4 - (they are a great bunch but if their supplier doesn't have them what can they do).

So having read all the great feedback about knivesshipfree on here I thought I'd see what sort of costs shipping for the US to the UK might bring.

I quite often buy kit from the US and while the exchange rate is pretty good at times the shipping usually kills - somewhere between $30-50 is not uncommon.

So what was KSF's charge? Thats right a very reasonable $12 - even with custom charges, VAT and the usual UK postal extras I should save a pretty penny for the original UK price of £129/$213.

Item is paid for so now all i have to do is wait......

is there a nail biting smile?

I just love KSF
I live in Belgium and the package arrived in 3 days :o
They get the biggest thumbs up i've ever given :D

Damn 3 days but i'm going away for the weekend better not tell the misses whats in the package dont want her opeining it and playing with it :)

it sure is a good Canadian connection also, it is incredible to see how expensive it is to import something to Canada from the US, and its only a 1hour and a half drive away.

KSF is a great dealer. Not too shabby for domestic sales, either. Derrick is good people.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll pass all this on to da Boss! ...that would be Wendy...

Its here!

appologies got so excited yesterday that my 4 was sitting on my mat that i forgot to update

pics up soon :)

My order arrived today:D.
It did almost take 3 weeks but it has spent some time at Dutch customs:(.

I ordered a rc4 and an izula and some paracord to complete the package.

So for Ksf its a big:thumbup:.
Good service and quick response with email traffic.
And 12 dollar for sending overseas is a great deal.

Customs ... *sigh*

at the moment European customs offices are overwhelmed with packages from overseas (the US and Hongkong mainly). With the Euro being relatively strong and the growing confidence in online shops, more people than usual are buying abroad.
Currently in Germany packages stay at customs 10 or more days.
