Just received my order from Tim Meeker/Feline Vet and don't remember being more satisfied. Since joining BF I've probably bought a dozen or so multi-tools/folders and am the most impressed with this order. Not only did I send the check out four days ago but it arrived today. It was packaged like I ordered a Rolex, even expensive watches I've ordered weren't so secure. It came with bubble tape/newspaper and two boxes, all for a less total order than some recent knives I purchased lately. For some nice reason I was upgraded to a ratchet Spirit instead of the regular. The German issue SAK was nicer than expected (liner lock even on the beer opener, nice!) All the while helping out some urban cats. This is the only place I'm ordering Swisstools/SAK's in the future. Also excellent customer service.

Tim (aka The Cat Man) is the first go-to guy for many of us over on SOSAK. In fairness, I should mention that some other other SAK sellers are also really nice, fair dealers. However, Tim's prices and service are always top notch, and helping out the kitties at the same time sort of makes it a hard offer for anyone else to beat. Tim is Da Man!

I don't want to get into "Quien es mas macho?" religious wars about which website is best.

What I can report is that there is an entire forum over there (at KF) devoted to SAK (Swiss Army Knive) collectors that is very, very active. If a SAK collector wants to participate in an active, helpful SAK community, he or she should consider participating in that forum as well as this one.

IMNSHO and YMMV, as they say.

Tim provided me with the shipping method I needed, answered every question I could come up with.. I would go on and on about how perfect that transaction was, right up until you got to the part about the ratchet you got..
Now I feel cheap..

I'm sure the un-ratchet model was out, so I was upgraded, but the prices are still the best I've seen and I practice finding the lowest prices on-line for everything.
 
Another Positive for Felinevet. I've ordered from him and his son a dozen or more times and he is one of the best dealers out there.
