I had posted about sending back a green handled Bucklite that was probably 20 + years old for service. The lock-up was no longer tight. I got the knife back today with a new blade and rivets. The knife looks and works like new. No charge. That is quality customer service my friends.

There are only two knife manufacturers who have my complete loyalty because of the combination of great knives and outstanding customer service. Buck is one of those two. I have been buying Buck knives since 1976, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.

Yeah its nice to rarely need it and nicer to know if you do, you'll be given way above and beyond service.

JWH, I'm glad your happy, I thought they'd do you right . Lambert, the same with me . Razor, well said . DM

I sent in a Buck CSAR-T that had a liner lock problem and slightly loose lockup after a few days of use and a Buck Omni hunter that had a weak lock and I just did not like it-felt cheap. They replaced both knives and are own their way home.I told them I would prefer a Buck 110 over the Omini if possible because my old 110 felt much tougher.Another 110 is what Im getting!I buy and gift Buck knives often and will continue to do so.I sent my knives in right before Thanksgiving and they are headed back by December 17th.Excellent service.Buck is #1 in service followed closely by Spyderco in my limited experience.Spyderco wont replace a blade and that irks me.

JWH & TD,

I'm happy the folks at Buck took care of your issues. Please post some photo's of your knives and comments on them when you have them in hand. Buck is and will continue to be my blade supplier of choice, USA company, quality products, customer service that is second to none!

They are great-glad you had a good experience and thanks for sharing it. Some folks are quick to point out the rare bad experience.

Its great they got your old knife fixed up for you. I have a couple Bucklites and like them. I don't know what they cost twenty years ago, but it couldn't have been much, and for them to still repair them for free is amazing...

I've only dealt with their service dept a few times. Once was a couple 110's I sent in for Spa Treatment. When I got them back, I was less than impressed.
I posted about my experience, and quickly got a rely apologizing, and was asked to send them back in for another chance.

It was not a big deal though, as they were users, and it got me to try giving them a spa treatment at home. It was fun, and they came out nice.

The other times I have dealt with them, they went WAY BEYOND what I could have ever hoped for. When you call them on the phone, you can tell they are actually interested in hearing what you have to say, and aren't rushing to get off the phone.

It would be nice if other companies, cared as much about the customer, as Buck does.

I have never been more impressed with any company's customer service than with Buck. I had occasion to question some courier charges that I thought were high. I had emailed the inquiry and I received a phone call from Janet at Buck. She had gone back over a year to discover a shipping error and made it right. Any company that will go to that extent deserves my loyalty and patronage. Old world service and value, with a Christian work ethic will always keep me coming back. Well done, Buck!

Thats cool  It would be awful hard to find another company that will go that length to make things right. Actually, I'm not sure if any others exist
