KUDOS for Kershaw

I sent my Spec Bump back to get sharpened and I insured it as a good boy should always do. What I did not realize is that US Postal insurance does not offer tracking unless you get it in addition to insurance (I don't mail a whole lot of stuff!). Panicked that I shipped it out on 10/24 untraceable, I ignored the 4-6 warranty return note on the Kershaw instructions and called Kershaw direct just now to check on the status. I figured they would say, "we don't track what comes in." I WAS WRONG. Somebody named Tiffany answered and listened to my issue and sent me to Juliette in Warranty. Not only did they have my info, they had a tracking number which she looked up and told me my Spec Bump should arrive on Wednesday.
Another reason why I must ask- Why would anyone do business with any other knife company when you can call and actually deal with live, helpful people at Kershaw ??!!
 
I have a wife, so I guess I won't go so far as "hot", but Jennifer and Tiffany are the BEST. They also have a high tolerance for us geeks, a good product knowledge, and a willingness to make the customer happy.
 
I don't normally frequent this forum but it's a propos that I saw this thread as just this evening Kershaw's EXCELLENT customer service people provided me with a magnetic holster for a pair of Kershaw/Shun Taskmaster Shears which had arrived with a broken holder.

Though the shears were purchased via a third party vendor they sent me the item cheerfully and without delay.

Such service speaks volumes about a company imho and deserves to be lauded.
 
i just have to add Dawn is awesome & have talked to jennifer as well, who was very helpful!
 
It feels good to pass along to all of my hunting/fishing buddies the great service I receive from Kershaw. I have put the challenge out to many of the guys to see if they get the same immediate response and friendly assistance from their favorite outdoor gear namebrand. I can tell you from my the stories I have heard it is not even close. I think I may be personally responsible for spreading the Kershaw/ZT word in Central Florida. It is an honor and pleasure to do so !!
 
I also had a very good experience with Kershaw. I sprung a clip on my External Toggle knife. When I called customer service to see if I could buy another one, they just sent me a new one (actually two) plus they sent me a tool to remove the screws with since I did not have one that fit. You just can't hardly beat their customer service, I agree.
