I recently received mine from Cutlery Shoppe (www.cutleryshoppe.com) and I must
say, JOB WELL DONE! ;) Wish SOG had been around with the PE during my TDY ("83") A confessed lover of "dagger type" blade(s), the PE "fits the bill" in spades! ;) I also like the partial serrations (most don't)
IMHO they are practical on a blade a "grunt" will carry into the "field"
( have a Spyderco Mili P&S for that SAME reason ) SOG, you did a great job! Next : the "Blink";) & "mini" X-Ray Vision. Stay tuned.

AET ;)

Thanks Allen! Your comments are very welcome here. After you've "test driven" them a bit and picked up those other knives, check back in and give us an update! :)

Great knife Allen :)...Enjoy it!

Hi Guys,

Not to worry...I'm here to clear up the smoke on the battle field! :)

SOG Specialty Knives has been a company for about 17 years. MACV/SOG was an elite special forces fighting group which fought in Vietnam. They had three knives (read more about that here) made just for them that are now quite rare and collector's pieces. Our company was named after this elited group and has replicated those knives.

(I know this is an over simplification, but is likely all that is needed to bring clarity to posts above.)
