I waited half a year for my large woody Seb (after having to pay the dealer in advance), but when it finally came through, it was not just as beautiful and perfect in every respect as expected, but knowing of the plight of my waiting, they sent me an extra CR tan sheath for free - quite a consolation.
Handwritten notes and all that stuff is very nice as well. That special attention, personal feeling, and exquisite maker-customer relationship is what makes CRKs worth that extra special semi-custom price once you've been able to afford it
